Shelley Ray is the Owner and Founder of Elevate Search, bringing 20 years of proven expertise in recruiting top talent across Accounting, Finance, and Supply Chain. Throughout her career, she has successfully placed candidates from staff-level professionals to C-Suite executives, serving clients across a wide range of industries throughout Greater Houston.

Before founding Elevate, Shelley spent nearly 17 years as a Senior Direct Hire Recruiter with a leading Texas-based recruiting firm, and 3 1/2 years as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of The Standard Executive Search. In these roles, she managed the full recruiting lifecycle—from sourcing and screening to interview preparation and offer negotiations—consistently earning recognition as a Top Producer and receiving multiple awards from both her firm and the Houston Area Association of Personnel Consultants (HAAPC). At The Standard, she had the opportunity to develop and mentor Recruiters and Interns which she found was a natural passion as she wants to help others achieve the success in recruiting that she has been blessed to have.

A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Shelley holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration and is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through HRCI.
